The General Assembly at the 21st ASSITEJ World Congress will take place in Havana with the possibility for online participation.
Time
The sessions of the General Assembly will take place at the following times:
• 27 May 08:30 – 15.30 Cuba Standard Time (UTC -4)
• 28 May 08:30 – 16.30 Cuba Standard Time (UTC -4)
• 29 May 09:00 – 11.00 Cuba Standard Time (UTC -4) NOTE: different location (Pabellón Cuba).
• 31 May 08:30 – 11.30 Cuba Standard Time (UTC -4)

Participation
ASSITEJ National Centres and ASSITEJ International Professional Networks are encouraged to attend the General Assembly with a delegation of three persons. If you wish to participate with a larger delegation, please contact the Secretary General.
Other interested persons are welcome to attend the General Assembly as observers without voting right. The assembly can be observed in person or online in the Facebook page of ASSITEJ International.
Only National Centres and Networks who are up to date with membership fee payments including the year of the General Assembly can exercise the right to vote.
Online Participation
The General Assembly can be attended online. This will take place in the following way:
• Follow the sessions in the live-streaming on Zoom.
• Make questions and comments in a chat that will be read out loud in the room of the assembly. This chat is only accessible to members that register for online participation.
• Cast your vote online by email (through the service electionrunner.com).
Voting
Voting at the General Assembly will happen online through electionrunner.com.
Both members attending in person and members attending online will vote using electionrunner.com.

Voting will open 28 May 18:00 Cuba Standard Time (UTC -4)

How to vote
To cast your vote you will receive an email from ASSITEJ. In this email you will find your online voting ballot with instructions on how to cast your vote.
The email will have the subject “Vote: General Assembly” sent by the service electionrunner.com
Number of votes
Each ASSITEJ National Centre or International Professional Network has 1 vote.

Language
The General Assembly will mainly be conducted in English with simultaneous interpretation to and from Spanish and French. If members wish to speak in other languages, ASSITEJ will give the time needed for consecutive translation and ask members for assistance in this translation.

The ASSITEJ National Centres and the ASSITEJ International Professional Networks have nominated candidates to be elected for the Executive Committee in the period May 2024 – 2027.
Bid for the 22nd ASSITEJ World Congress 2027
ASSITEJ Korea presents a bid to host the 23rd ASSITEJ World Congress in Seoul, Korea in 2027.

Financial Statements
These are the financial statements of ASSITEJ International for 2021, 2022, and 2023 (the years finalised in the term between the General Assembly held at the 20th ASSITEJ World Congress in 2021 and the present General Assembly).
The statements will be presented for approval at the General Assembly.
