How Do We Spend Your Money?
The income received^ from delegates buying Access Passes to the 21st ASSITEJ World Congress and Performing Arts Festival for Children & Young People is used in the following ways:
50% To Support International Travel Costs Of Performing Companies*
ASSITEJ International supports the travel costs of the selected companies to create equal opportunities in attending the event, regardless of their local arts funding opportunities.
50% To Support The Local Host
This includes the costs they have for festival production, transport, venue hire, communication, and accommodation of artists and sponsored delegates.
*^12% of the gross income is spent on transaction fees of PayPal and administration costs of the digital platform.

ASSITEJ National Centre & Network Discounts
We are delighted to offer a group discount for those who wish to buy tickets together. ASSITEJ National Centres & Networks are welcome to make use of these group discounts.
Purchasing 10-19 Access Passes as a group?
You’ll receive a 15% discount.
Purchasing more than 20 Access Passes as a group?
You’ll receive a 25% discount.
This discount applies in addition to the Eligible Countries Discount but cannot be combined with Freelancer Discount requests.
The discounts are intended for members from one ASSITEJ National Centre or International Professional Network. There might be a situation where some centres are paying for delegates from other countries because they are, for example, part of a project that this centre has created. An ASSITEJ centre or Network can include persons outside their country or membership if the Centre/Network is really paying the costs, but not if they are only acting as an intermediary. We are trying to encourage National Centres to support increased participation in their own contexts.
ELIGIBLE COUNTRY DISCOUNTS
As ASSITEJ Cuba and ASSITEJ International wish to improve global access to the event, discounted Access Passes are available to delegates and audience members from certain countries.
FREELANCER DISCOUNTS
The discount for freelancers is created to enable those with limited means or
mechanisms for support to attend our ASSITEJ World Congress and Performing
Arts Festival for Children & Young People. There is already a discount for anyone
not from a high GDP country.
A freelancer is:
● A person who makes money on a per-job basis;
● A person who works for many different employers or projects or is self-employed;
● A person who does not get a regular income or salary from a single source and does not receive the benefits of permanent employment;
● A person who can often have inconsistent or irregular income.
ASSITEJ International and the host country rely on the income from delegate
passes to be able to arrange the ASSITEJ World Congress and Performing Arts
Festival for Children & Young People and support the performing artists. We
encourage everyone who can to pay a full fee.
