GETTING AROUND

Most venues are within walking distance from each other, as well as from our recommended hotels. The programme schedule has been created taking walking time into account. 

The main festival centre will be in Pabellón Cuba. In this area, delegates will gather in the late afternoon and evenings. 

The General Assembly of ASSITEJ will take place at Hotel Nacional, only a five-minute walk from Pabellón Cuba.

During some days of the Congress, the daytime festival hub will be La Casa de la Poesía in Old Havana where the Professional Exchange Programme takes place. This hub will close around 4 pm, and the festival activity will move away from Old Havana.

Performances of the congress will take place in the streets of old Havana, in communities and in the theatre venues of the neighbourhood of Vedado in Havana.
